I have to say, there is an extreme amount of hype around the change from 2019 to 2020.
It's not every day that we change decades but I don't remember it being so overstated when we changed from 2009 to 2010; maybe it's because I was younger? Who knows.
What I do know is that there is the usual, "this will be the greatest year ever!" and "this will be MY year!" It's a common theme and not many seem to be looking beyond the happy go lucky optimism.
Over the past 2 years we, both as individuals and as a collective, have been challenged and asked to rise above. The changes we have been initiated through and embraced were extraordinary.
By moving into a new decade, in a new era, this change is not slowing down. We have work to do. And lots of it.
Climate change, abuse of human rights, conflict, inequality, bigotry, and all the other ills will not suddenly evaporate without our continued dedicated input.
Numerologically, we are entering into a 4 year. This means getting shit done. Regardless of our personal year number, this will be the overarching global trend with key themes such as:
Getting things done
Attention to detail
Look over that list again, what stands out? I'm not trying to burst the optimistic bubble, far from it, with the excitement of the new comes a desire to shift the old. All I ask is that we move through life with our eyes wide open.
I'm a practical person and I believe that when we have more information we are better prepared for what lie ahead. Rose coloured glasses serve no one and catch us off guard.
Yes, 2020 is a new year. Yes, 2020 is a new decade. Yes, 2020 is a new opportunity.
We officially move into a new era of Aquarius which asks us to live from a 5D paradigm; we have spent the last 8 years transitioning into this and it does not happen without our effort.
2020 is a year of hard work, detail, discipline, and practical solutions. It is a big year and we have the potential to move though it with grace, with our eyes and hearts wide open, doing what is needed and facing the challenges that lay ahead.
This is the work we come here to do.
